Mmmh, this tasty lemoncake makes the cold and snowy weekend a lot sweeter to us. It tastes a little bit like sun. And you need knitting needles for it, too, really!

Here is the recipe, sorry only in German, click on the picture to enlarge:

Of course I knitted during the last three weeks, too - a lot of "little" projects. At first I introduce to you my third (!) "Back-to-School-Vest". The shape is so gorgeous and I was "in need" of such a basic, indeed:

Back-to-School-Vest by Stephanie Japel, Fitted Knits
Garn/Yarn: 250g Rowan Kid Classic , Colour charcoal
Nadeln/Needles: 5mm/5,5mm

Then there were these two pairs of wristlets - there should be some in black and red for me, of course. I found the patterns in an old pattern book. As you see, the black wristlets have leaves on the edges, the red ones have only points. The rest is garter stitch.

Schwarze Stulpen/Black wristlets
gekauft bei/purchased at www.knittybitty.de
Garn/Yarn: 70 g Knit Picks Merino Style
Nadeln/Needles: 4mm

Rote Stulpen/Red wristlets
Garn/Yarn: 40 g Kid Classic in cherry red
Nadeln/Needles: 4,5mm

The next project were these socks - we were on the road and as you know I always knit socks in the car.

Socken/Socks
Garn/Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Special, 6fach/6ply, Colour 8876
Nadeln/Needles: 3,5mm

Last but not least I introduce to you my new Rainbow Scarf which was really fun to knit:

Regenbogenschal/Rainbow Scarf
Garn/Yarn: 160g Kauni
gekauft bei/purchased at http://www.wollsucht.de/
Nadeln/Needles: 3,5mm

The colours are gorgeous and the pattern of this multidirectional diagonal scarf is really easy to follow. After washing the scarf the yarn is soft and very pleasant to wear on the skin.

I wish all of you a cosy weekend with or without clicking needles,
Susanne
